Description

This creamy fettuccine pasta is an easy and delicious meal made in the Instant Pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta, broken in half
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add fettuccine pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, butter, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to the Instant Pot. Spread noodles to submerge as much as possible, but do not stir.
  2. Close and seal the Instant Pot lid. Cook on Manual/Pressure Cook at high pressure for 7 minutes.
  3. Once cooking is complete, perform a quick pressure release. Carefully open the lid once the pin drops.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and well combined. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  5. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Make sure to break the fettuccine in half to fit into the Instant Pot.
  • This recipe can be adjusted by adding vegetables or protein to the mixture before cooking.
