A delicious bread pudding made with day-old brioche or challah bread, flavored with warm spices and caramel sauce.

- 8 cups day-old brioche or challah bread, cubed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp chai spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves)
- 1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and chai spices until well combined.
- Add cubed bread to the custard mixture and gently press down. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, drizzling extra caramel sauce over each portion.
Notes
- This recipe can be made using either brioche or challah bread.
- For a dairy-free option, substitute whole milk with any dairy-free milk alternative.
