Description

A delicious bread pudding made with day-old brioche or challah bread, flavored with warm spices and caramel sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 cups day-old brioche or challah bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp chai spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and chai spices until well combined.
  3. Add cubed bread to the custard mixture and gently press down. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, drizzling extra caramel sauce over each portion.
