Description

A delicious, creamy caramel made from dates and coconut milk.


Ingredients

  • 15 dates, pitted
  • ½ cup full-fat coconut milk (use the solid part on top)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for about 15 minutes to soften.
  2. Transfer the soaked dates to a high-powered blender with the solid part of the coconut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the mixture into a jar and stir in vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until well incorporated.
  4. Let the caramel cool completely before covering and refrigerating.
