Description

This Air-Fried Korean Chili Cauliflower is a delicious and healthy dish with a spicy kick from the gochujang.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons Korean chili paste (gochujang)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (for vegan option)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Pat them dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, mix Korean chili paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss them in the marinade. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.
  4. Turn the air fryer on to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the outside. You can cook it a little longer if desired for extra crunch.
  7. Once done, remove the cauliflower from the air fryer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for a fresh touch.
  8. Enjoy your Air-Fried Korean Chili Cauliflower while it’s hot for the best flavor and texture!
