Description
This Air-Fried Korean Chili Cauliflower is a delicious and healthy dish with a spicy kick from the gochujang.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (for vegan option)
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Pat them dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, mix Korean chili paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss them in the marinade. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.
- Turn the air fryer on to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the coated cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the outside. You can cook it a little longer if desired for extra crunch.
- Once done, remove the cauliflower from the air fryer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for a fresh touch.
- Enjoy your Air-Fried Korean Chili Cauliflower while it’s hot for the best flavor and texture!
